The MST hub for connecting up to 3 external monitors via the video output of your notebook/PC allows you to increase your productivity by working with multiple screens. It uses Multi Stream Transport technology (DisplayPort 1.2 functionality), which enables the transmission of several AV signals over a single cable. This allows the use of several monitors connected via the MST hub setup. The MST hub can distribute different video streams to three connected displays. Basically, three playback modes are supported: Screen Mirroring (1 signal duplicated on 3 displays), Desktop Extend (3 signals on 3 displays), Split (1 signal split on 3 displays).

Tips:

To achieve the above resolutions, the computer (host) must support DP 1.4 (Alt mode). If your computer only supports DP 1.2, the corresponding resolutions will be reduced due to bandwidth limitations.

The resolution configurations listed above are provided as theoretical references and actual resolutions will vary depending on the connected host computer and monitors.

To use the full range of functions, please ensure that your device (graphics card) supports DP 1.4.

When using a DisplayPort 1.1 graphics card, the MST hub functions as a splitter and mirrors the video source to all connected displays.

Functionality may be limited depending on device specifications and operating system.

MST hubs do not allow you to increase the number of displays supported by the graphics card. Each graphics card can support a limited number of displays. Please check the specifications of your device beforehand.

At least one host system with DP 1.2/HBR2/MST or higher is required (recommended).
