Tempest 2 USB Cable Our new Tempest 2 USB cable is closely related to our Shadow 2 USB model. Two solid-core, 24 AWG silver-plated copper data conductors are insulated in super-low-loss air-PTFE teflon tubes, and shielded under dense copper braided shielding. Data and power lines are physically separated. The anodised aluminium connector housings provide continuous shielding to the point of termination.
