Premium steel The 81mm long drop-point head is made of CPM-S30V premium steel hardened to 58-60 HRC . The American powder steel is particularly valued for its resistance to corrosion, wear (high impact strength) and long maintenance of working sharpness . When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
