American tool steel The knife has a slim 86mm long blade , made of hard 154CM tool steel , hardened to a hardness of 58-61 HRC . 154CM is a high-carbon stainless steel enriched with molybdenum, so it can be described as an improved version of 440C. American 154CM steel is valued for its resistance to corrosion and wear (high impact strength), long maintenance of working sharpness and relative ease of sharpening. Utility head The blade, with a utilitarian drop point profile , is finished by satin-finishing (polishing). The matte blade is easier to clean and does not reflect light. The knife has a gently marked blade belly and a strong hilt. A head with such a profile is an excellent choice for those looking for a knife with very good cutting properties and a sturdy tip.
